Zain al-Haddad
Zain read law at university and ran three organizations he co-founded beginning 2008. The bizarre participatory arts collective RandomAlphabets and the communications agency Wago – both ceasing operations when he moved to Tareem in 2014. Peace Meal which continues until today promotes the cultural, intellectual and spiritual understanding of Islam primarily in the greater Kuala Lumpur. His primary interest is in community building and Ahlaha is the most recent initiative.
All of the following are staff members who receive salary for their work and remains the bulk of the cost expenditure for Ahlaha. If you would like to help materialize the projects, two things are a priority:

Edris Magre
Edris was born in Kenya and raised in Canada. His main role is working with stakeholders and project management. His main interest is Habib Ahmad Mashoor al-Haddad. Edris kicked off the Book of Assistance Instructor’s Guide project.
Aidroos al-Haddad
Aidroos worked for two years as an assistant tailor after completing high school in Tareem. With the money he saved he traveled to Malaysia working there at a school and served the various Muslim communities there. Aidroos works primarily on the Habib Zain Bin-Semayt book project.
Haddad BinSemait
Haddad is the closest grandson to the martyred Habib Aidroos Bin-Sumayt, whom he learned hat-stitching from – the Alfiah turban. He used to teach English at the Model School of Hadhramout and now runs a tour company and a shop next to al-Mihdhar mosque. Haddad handles research work directly connected to Tareem.
Saeed Uthman
Saeed is from from London and a seeker of knowledge of some years in Tareem and is known to organize many initiative projects for the community of foreign students like football matches and father-daughter activity day to name a few. Saeed contributes generally as a research member.
Khairuddin Abdullah
Khairuddin is from Singapore and left the corporate world to move to Tareem with his wife and teenage children. He is active with Majlis Muwasolah Singapore and used to teach at the New Muslims Association in Singapore. He’s actively involved in the Hadith book project.
Raja Azaredani
Better known as King, he and Zain used to work in Starbucks together where he eventually rose to Store Manager. Later he would manage Mukha Cafe, where most of Peace Meal events take place. Based in KL, he now assists organizations like Peace Meal, Mukha Ba and Ahlaha.
Husna Zulkifli
Husna was an attendee and volunteer for Peace Meal. After reading Accountancy in Australia she came back to Malaysia contributing her skills and energy to initiatives. She’s based in Malaysia now as a support staff to the various projects.
Abdullah Salih
After converting to Islam while working in the UK in his youth, he went to seek knowledge of the sacred sciences in Tareem. After some years he is actively involved in da’wah and working as an official translator in his home Namibia. Abdullah is the resident Arabic-English translator for the project.
Mustafa Barawa
Mustafa is from Manchester and has been in Tareem as a seeker of knowledge for many years now. He is one of the few Western students that managed to complete the short one year Quranic Memorization program successfully. Mustafa is translating the book by Habib Zain Bin-Semayt.
